e | ----x-----x------x----x---

g | ----0-----0------0----0---
d | ----0-----0------0----0---

"gave them to the night" part:
e | ----x-----x------x----x---
b | ----x-----x------x----x---
g | ----0-----0------0----0---
d | ----0-----0------0----0---
a | ---10-----9-----7----5----3----2
e | ---12----10-----8----7----5----3

When they found your body
Giant X's on your eyes
With your half of the ransom
You bought some sweet, sweet, sweet
Sweet sunflowers
And gave them to the night
Underneath the star of David
A hundred years behind behind my eyes
And with my half of the ransom
I bought some sweet, sweet, sweet
Sweet sunflowers
And gave them to the night

Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet sunflowers (x 4)
And gave them to the night

here's an alternate chord form. personally, i think it gives more control over the strings, and evens out the tone to make it a bit more like the open tuning:

|---x-----x---x---x---0---3
|-/-8-----7---5---3---1---0
|---0-----0---0---0---2---0
|---x-----x---x---x---2---0
|-/-7-----5---3---2---0---2
|---x-----x---x---x---0---3

obviously, it doesn't have the strum patterns, embellishments before the slide up to the 7th fret, etc.

also, i use my first finger (starting on the 7th fret) to mute the other unwanted strings, like the 6th and 4th, and i use my third finger (starting on the 8th fret) to mute the 1st string.

i can post the instrumental walkdown part later on if someone needs it.

and it makes it easier to switch from the G ("to the night") back to the main part ("underneath...)
